Our 18-Hole League
Our 18-holers enjoy a very organized league.  All 18-hole players must have a GHIN Handicap Index (your membership fee does not include GHIN membership). New members must live, work or play in a league within Stark County.

We are divided into flights by handicap.  All you need do to play is sign up each month at the course as to whether you are able to play.

We will begin play on Monday, May 6, at 8:00 a.m. at Arrowhead Golf Club (www.arrowheadgolfnc.com) and will play through August 26.  Just click here for the entire season.

For further information, please contact Jean Wackerly at [email protected].

In addition to league play, you can also participate in the following events:

36th Annual Team Tournament
Will be held on Wednesday, July 17, at 8:30 a.m. to be played at Arrowhead Golf Club.

To be eligible to participate in the SCWAGA Team Tournament, all players must have played at least 4 times at the Stark County course the team is representing within the last 12 months from July 1, 2023, to July 1, 2024.

A team may consist of unlimited participation with a minimum of 7 players per team with a verifiable USGA handicap.  Also, more than one team can represent a course.

This prestigious event, representing both public and private golf courses, is also one of our biggest fundraisers, supporting our Junior Girls Scholarship Fund.

We invite you to join us on Wednesday, July 17, to enjoy one of the very few area team competitions open to both private and public clubs.

SCWAGA 36-Hole Championship
Will be held on Monday, July 29, and  Monday, August 5, at Arrowhead Golf Club.

Overall low gross and low net winners are determined, using the two-day total.  Each flight is also represented by a low gross and low net winner.

SCWAGA Team Scramble
Our Team Scramble will be held on Monday, August 26.

Teams are paired on the basis of handicaps.  The scramble is followed by a delicious lunch and awards.

As you can see, SCWAGA is more than just a golf league.  It’s an opportunity to meet other women, enjoy different golfing venues, while supporting and promoting junior girls golf.
